Sam Smith looks smitten as they passionately kiss hunky new boyfriend Francois Rocci

Sam Smith put on a steamy display with their new boyfriend Francois Rocci during a date in London on Tuesday.

The Oscar-winning singer, 28, looked smitten as they passionately kissed Francois as they walked down the street, before sharing more smooches over a table at a pub. 

Sam couldn’t keep their hands off the handsome product and furniture designer as they embraced before walking arm-in-arm down the street.

Sharing several special moments as they walked down the street, Francois cheekily placed a hand on Sam’s derriere during the stroll.

The How Do You Sleep hitmaker looked casually cool in a lavender jumper paired with sequinned bootcut jeans and box fresh trainers.

Adding a stylish twist, they donned a black satchel.

Francois looked trendy in a black jacket and jeans as he kissed and chatted with Sam over a pint.

According to his website, Francois is a French-born designer who graduated with a BA(hons) in Product and Furniture Design from Kingston University, London in 2016.

He also has a Masters in Design Product from the Royal College of Art, London which he obtained in 2018.       

Back in April the star admitted they freaked out about being single when the coronavirus lockdown started in the UK.

The singer’s last serious relationship was with Brandon Flynn, 26, in 2018, and the star revealed they immediately turned to dating apps when the restrictions were imposed.

Speaking on SiriusXM, the singer said: ‘For the first two weeks I was like “oh my God I’m single”. I went on this dating thing and it was the worst!

 ‘And then you get attached to guys, and then you’re forming quarantine relationships over the phone, it’s a dangerous path…’

Sam also revealed they want to date an older man after scouting for matches on the exclusive dating app Raya.

They said: ‘I think I want to be with someone older now. I need someone who has passions and has their own drive.

‘It’s nice to be able to date on your phone. I haven’t done it in years – I just want the romance.’   

Sam previously admitted they were hit hard by the pain of the break-up from Brandon and said they felt at their lowest when touring.

Sam said: ‘Being on tour is a bit of a crazy experience, I get really low sometimes on tour.

‘I feel like I sound so depressing all the time when I talk about it, but I get depressed on tour.

‘I think it’s the responsibly and pressure that makes me struggle.’

 The Promises hitmaker also confessed that they hated seeing couples being romantic with one another, and often became jealous of other people’s relationships.

Sam admitted: ‘I’ve just gone through a break-up so I’m not in the mood for romance.

‘When I see couples I just want to poke their eyes. It’s hard to be happy for other people when you feel so s**t.’
