But Samantha X, otherwise known as Amanda Goff, has made an official return to escorting.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Thursday, the 44-year-old said after leaving the industry nearly one year ago, she missed her old job.

During an interview on Sunday Night in 2014, Samantha X explained how boredom at work led to her transition from a divorced mum to a highly-paid escort.
Her journey began in 2012, when she visited a Sydney bordello on her lunch break from work as a magazine editor. Just two days later she was having sex for money.
It was previously revealed how Samantha X had a career in the media, having worked at New Idea, Prevention and InStyle magazines.

Working in the industry for six years after her divorce to ex-husband David Basha, the mother-of-two’s decision to hang up her heels came after falling for ex-partner Ryan.
Samantha X and Ryan first confirmed their relationship last October, with the blonde sharing sweet snaps from their European getaway.
She then announced October 24 as ‘the end’ of her escorting days, by sharing a page from her diary: ‘There it is in black and white folks. October 24th hanging up the heels day. New life awaits.’

In February, she clarified to Daily Mail Australia that ‘the door was firmly closed’ on a return to sex work.

Since ‘quitting’ escorting, she’s maintained strong ties within the industry by running her escort agency Samantha X Angels and offering her services as a love coach.
In addition to taking care of the behind-the-scenes of her agency, Samantha has also been completing a Masters Degree in counselling and psychology.
In recent months, she’s hinted on numerous occasions that she’s been contemplating her return to escorting, most recently responding to a fan who asked if she missed the industry with ‘incredibly’.

‘I learnt a valuable lesson in my recent break-up and that was never, ever to give anything up for a man,’ Samantha X said cryptically at the time.
