Ms Lette-Garvey posted photos of the swastikas on Facebook, saying she ‘can’t help but just want to cry’.
‘I would never imagine that by simply showing support for equality would I be met with such vitriol.’
Ms Lette-Garvey’s husband Joel said he had spoken to police and his neighbours about the graffiti.
‘I’ve had a few neighbours come by and offer a hand. People stopping in their cars and giving sympathy and saying they’re voting yes.
‘Removing spray paint isn’t hard. Standing up for what you believe in is what you should do.’
A Queensland Police spokesman said they had received a report about the incident and are looking into it.
After being shocked at finding the swastikas Ms Lette-Garvey’s husband used a bit of creativity to turn them back to showing support for same-sex marriage
