Hoping to reverse the result from Super Bowl LIV four years ago, the San Francisco 49ers landed in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday.

The 49ers will again play the NFL’s championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs, after losing 31-20 to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and co. in February 2020.

Some of San Francisco’s integral players were part of that loss including Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Kyle Juszczyk.

The team has drafted Brock Purdy and traded for Christian McCaffrey and Chase Young since then as well.

Back in San Francisco, hundreds of fans showed up in the pouring rain to see the team bus depart for the airport.
