The caption reads: ‘Bad news, 1 of Santa’s helpers has had a little accident, but everything is still on track for a Christmas delivery.’

In the clip three sleighs, each being pulled by a donkey, are seen at an intersection.

When the light turns green the donkeys take off, but one appears to break away from the sleigh, sending the woman on the ride flying backwards.

The donkey continues to turn right at the busy intersection past a number of cars.

Santa tries to control the other donkeys, before helping the woman up and everyone off to the side of the road.

The clip has been viewed a number of times, with many pointing out the lack of Christmas spirit as no one stopped to help Santa.

‘Clearly the Xmas spirit is gone from all those waiting at the lights – no one exactly rushes to their aid,’ one person said.

Others said donkeys shouldn’t be doing a reindeer’s job.

‘That’s what happens when you get a donkey to do a reindeer’s job. I hope that this will cause people to reconsider paying extra for quality reindeer haulage in future,’ another user said.
