Sheltering from the Swedish spring, today the pair huddled under an umbrella as they opened the Project Ocean, which is the  is the overall project of non-profit organisation The Perfect World Foundation that focuses on restoring oceans.

Opting for a natural look, Fergie let her famous red hair down and sported minimal make-up  adding just a touch of shadow around her eye.

The grandmother-of-two added a light hoop earring to the look.

Meanwhile, father-of-four Albert opted for a warmer look in slacks and boots.

It comes after his wife Charlene, 44, returned to the principality following an extended stay away due to health problems, including what the palace has previously referred to as a ‘state of profound general fatigue’.

The mother-of-two was reportedly admitted to a private Swiss clinic in late November, within days of her return to Monaco following a 10-month absence in her native South Africa.

The palace said in a statement issued earlier this month stating: ‘The next few weeks should allow for Princess Charlene to further strengthen her health, before gradually resuming her official duties and commitments.’

The Monaco palace has consistently denied media reports of a rift between Charlene and the principality’s ruler Prince Albert, who were wed in 2011, following the princess’ long absence.

Zimbabwean-born Princess Charlene was hospitalised after collapsing in September in South Africa, where she had been living for several months.

She underwent surgery in October for an ear, nose and throat infection after checking in under a pseudonym in a Durban hospital, a palace source said at the time.

Friends previously told Page Six that the mother-of-two ‘almost died’ while she was in her home country, while her husband spoke out to say she is suffering from ‘exhaustion, both emotional and physical’.

Charlene is now back in Monaco, although she has yet to return to royal engagements.

Charlene’s time away followed fresh allegations last December that Albert had fathered a love-child (which would be his third, if proven) with an unnamed Brazilian woman during the time when he and Charlene, a former Olympic swimmer for South Africa, were already in a relationship.

Neither party is now commenting, suggesting some kind of generous settlement may have been reached, as happened with Albert’s earlier love children.
