Sarah Jessica Parker skips the line at the nightclub with Sarita Choudhury in And Just Like That

Two-time Emmy winner Sarah Jessica Parker and Homeland alum Sarita Choudhury filmed one of their final scenes for HBO Max’s And Just Like That in Manhattan on Monday night.

The Ohio-born 56-year-old’s writer-turned-podcaster character Carrie Bradshaw previously enjoyed a cigarette on September 15 with the British 55-year-old’s wealthy character Seema Patel.

Glammed up female extras lined up behind a velvet rope looked stunned as Carrie and Seema strutted past them in their designer clothing selected by former SATC costume associate Molly Rogers.

Bradshaw then smiled at the black-clad bouncer as the ladies skipped the line and made their way inside the nightclub.

For the club scene, Sarah styled her blonde locks into a tidy top bun and wore a pink satin blazer over a black top, pants, and sparkly slingbacks.

Parker – who boasts 7.3M Instagram followers – said in a video on Monday: ‘It’s my last walk, for now, as Carrie. Just wrapped, wow, an adventure and feeling very sentimental and that’s it, wow.’

Earlier that same day, the SJP Collection co-founder celebrated the end of filming with her fellow executive producers and castmates Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis and three crew members.

The Sex and The City alums are all earning ‘$1M per episode’ to produce and reprise their roles as Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte in the 10-episode limited series – according to Variety.

In her new Vogue cover story, Sarah slammed the ‘misogynist chatter’ about the interest, or lack thereof, of watching women over 50 continue their lives in the sequel.

‘That would never. Happen. About. A. Man,’ Parker said, punctuating every word with a clap.

‘”Gray hair gray hair gray hair. Does she have gray hair?” I’m sitting with Andy Cohen and he has a full head of gray hair, and he’s exquisite. Why is it okay for him? I don’t know what to tell you people! Especially on social media. Everyone has something to say.

‘”She has too many wrinkles, she doesn’t have enough wrinkles.” It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly okay with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better. I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?’

In And Just Like That, Carrie will suffer the loss of a major character and her marriage to Mr. Big aka John James Preston (Chris Noth) is in trouble – according to Page Six.

On October 20, SJP was seen kissing her new onscreen leading man, her former Equal Justice co-star Jon Tenney.

Returning Sex and the City cast members include the late Willie Garson, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Mario Cantone, Bridget Moynahan, and Julie Halston.

And Just Like That got a shot of diversity by welcoming newcomers Cathy Ang, LeRoy McClain, Cree Cicchino, Nicole Ari Parker, and Sara Ramírez.

There’s no denying the original HBO series based on Candace Bushnell’s 1997 book was iconic albeit a whitewashed version of Manhattan.

‘The incredible lack of diversity was the Achilles’ heel of the show, the first time around,’ Nixon admitted to Vogue.

Excitement for AJLT might have fans forgetting just how dismally bad the films Sex and the City: The Movie and Sex and the City 2 were in 2008 and 2010.

The CW also aired a forgettable, eighties-set spin-off The Carrie Diaries starring AnnaSophia Robb from 2013-2014.
