Despite appearing in pain, Sarah was later able to flash a smile as she attempted to maneuver around the stairs with her crutches.
Dressed down for the outing, the W1A star sheathed herself in a khaki fur-lined jacket that she teamed with skinny jeans and knee high suede boots.
Injecting some colour into her ensemble, the actress donned a red cross body bag with vibrant orange and maroon panels.

Sarah’s outing came after she revealed that she had to have a pin through her shin at at Royal Hampshire County Hospital after breaking her leg.
Taking to Instagram alongside pictures of herself being tended to by paramedics, she wrote: ‘No sleep last night, was on enough Morphine to knock the Navy out but still in pain.
‘Note to self: cheap plastic sledges are for sitting in and gently trundling down primary slopes NOT a substitute for a stand up snowboard.’

Updating her fans on her progress last month, Sarah revealed she was on the mend, yet still sported some gruesome bruises in her snap.
She posted: ‘It’s 3 weeks since my Tib and Fib spiral fracture. Bruising has nearly gone, stitches out and leg well and truly on the mend.
‘Thank you Winchester Hospital for such brilliant treatment. We’re so lucky to have our NHS. Let’s look after them as well as they look after us. #NHS #brokenleg #tibfibfracture.’

Sarah played the character Dawn Rudge in the ITV drama series Peak Practice in 1993, but more recently starred in the third and final series of Broadchurch as Cath Atwood.
She also played Katie Roden in the BBC One series Mistresses between 2008 and 2010.
Following the accident, her fans and fellow actors wished Sarah a speedy recovery on both Instagram and Twitter.
