Savannah Chrisley claims ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles has sent her ‘signs’ following his tragic death in a motorcycle accident: ‘It’s confusing and sad’

Savannah Chrisley opened up about the loss of her former fiancé Nic Kerdiles, saying he has sent her ‘signs’ following his untimely death in September.

Weeks after the reality star, 26, asked Nic to ‘send me a sign that you’re OK’ in an emotional Instagram post, she told ET on Monday that he answered the call.

‘Nic’s given me some signs,’ Savannah said of the former NHL player, who lost his life after suffering a motorcycle accident at the age of 29.

‘I just know that he would want everyone to live life to the fullest, because that’s exactly what he did. He’s just an amazing human being,’ she added. ‘You have to remember those things for sure.”

The Chrisley Knows Best alum went on to say that the tragedy has left her ‘sad and confused’.

‘I’m OK, but it’s been such a really sad, unfortunate situation that’s tough to navigate,’ she explained. ‘There’s anger and tears and all the things associated with it.’

Savannah continued: ‘This is the first real loss I’ve ever had to [face]. I was young when my grandfather passed away, so in my adult life this is the first real loss that I’ve had.’

Nic died after running through a stop sign in Nashville and striking the driver’s side of a BMW on September 23, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department told WRKN News 2.

Last week, Savannah spoke further about the incredible heartbreak she felt following the tragedy on her Unlocked w/ Savannah Chrisley Podcast.

‘I cannot tell you how many people have reached out and told me stories about how Nic had impacted their life.,’ she began.

‘If his passing teaches us anything, I think it’s to love and love hard. And to treat people with so much love and kindness because that’s exactly what he did – so Nic, I love you, you’ll be missed and you left a mark.’

Savannah also took to her Instagram story to pay tribute to her ex-fiancé on the day of the motorcycle accident.

She uploaded a picture of the two holding hands as they walked along a beach and wrote: ‘Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today… I miss you and I love you…

‘I’ll forever save our last messages of “I love you”… Please send me a sign that you’re ok… Maybe it’ll be thru a ham and cheese crepe.. or pasta with white sauce… or maybe even your favorite carrot cake.

‘We loved hard… and I can’t wait to ride bikes along the beaches of heaven with you one day.’

Savannah and Nic began dating in 2017 and a year later, the former Anaheim Ducks player popped the question on an episode of Chrisley Knows Best.

However, the couple got cold feet and postponed the wedding, before breaking up in September 2020.
