Savannah Guthrie celebrated her 46th birthday with cake for breakfast — and her daughter Vale couldn’t be happier.
The Today show star took to Instagram on her birthday Wednesday morning to share a photo of her cake, as well as a picture of her three-year-old daughter smiling while eating the dessert.
‘Everyone’s wish came true #cakeforbreakfast,’ captioned the images.

The cake was also decorated with a tiny photo of Savannah and her husband, Mike Feldman, with Vale and their one-year-old son, Charley, while on vacation this summer.
Savannah and her family celebrated the holiday in the mountains, and later that day she returned to Instagram to post a photo of the scenic view outside her window.

When sharing the photo, Savannah used the hashtags ‘#cousins #besties #snowballfight #victory #getUncleCam.’
On Christmas Day, Savannah shared a darling photo of herself posed with her 49-year-old husband and their two children while they modeled matching pajamas.
All four of them can be seen in matching Christmas outfits while posing for the candid family shot on their sofa.

The family presumably posed for the picture on Christmas morning, and Savannah, who is wearing her glasses, looks delighted to be cuddling with her two little ones on the occasion.
Savannah went on to post two shots of her family’s snowy surroundings on Christmas Day, writing: ‘white Christmas blue sky.’
On Christmas Eve, the proud mother also shared a video of her daughter explaining that Santa won’t leave you presents under the treat if you pout.
The clip proves that Vale is very up to date when it comes to how people need to behave if they want Santa Claus to bring them presents.

This Christmas is Charley’s second (the little boy was born on December 8 last year), but it marks the first time the little boy has been old enough to truly enjoy the holidays.
It was his sister, however, who appeared to get an early start on her Christmas festivities last week when she received a drum as an early Christmas present from her aunt.
Mike, a public relations and communications consultant, first shared a picture of a very pleased Vale with the drum around her neck and a drumstick in each hand.

Savannah retweeted his message and revealed she was the one who told her sister-in-law Vale might like a drum as a Christmas present this year.
‘I suggested the drum for a gift,’ she wrote, fessing up. ‘Why why why.’
The Today anchor’s family has been busy getting ready for the holiday season throughout December.
Earlier this month, Savannah sharedphotos of Vale cuddling up to their Christmas tree in the lead-up to the holiday.
‘Hug a Christmas tree,’ the Today anchor captioned the adorable pictures of her daughter, who is clad in her pajamas in the snaps.
Vale can be seen with her arms wrapped around the tree, which at the time had yet to get decorated.
