Say bye to Obesity without hitting the gym! Follow these tricks

All of us are not gym-freaks but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a healthy lifestyle. Neither it is a reason why you can’t kick out obesity from your life.

Obesity is fatal; there are so many diseases that you travel along with it. Gym can certainly prove to be a player in the war against obesity but it’s not the entire team. You can still win without that one player. Let me show you how:

P.S. I recently tried this amazing product named ChocoLite and it worked wonders, do give it a try!

Cut ways with alcohol

Well, to get rid of that beer belly, you need to first get rid of beer. You need to accept that alcohol is one of the biggest offenders when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle and then quit.

Once in a couple of months or occasionally in parties is not a criminal offense but don’t make it a daily habit. You see, alcohol has a lot of empty calories, i.e. calories with zero nutritional value. And, we all know what calories do to the body. I know it is tempting when you see the ice cubes fumbling in a glass of wine, but trust me the resistance is going to reward you in different terms.

Protein in every meal

I am sure you must have heard about a ‘protein-rich diet’ at least once in your lifetime. Here’s what Harvard health has to say about it: You require at least 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram.

There are several benefits of a diet that centralizes protein: One, as you gain muscle you lose fat, and gain muscle, protein is one of the most important ingredients. Second, Protein secretes or releases the hormone PYY, which sends signals to the brain that you are full. It helps you to avoid overeating, or binge eating, without compromising on your hunger. Plus, it boosts your metabolism too. This gives you immense evidence that the higher the protein the better it is.

Let go of the Stress

Amidst the long list of negative impacts of stress on your body, extraordinary weight gain stands tall. How, you ask? Because as you start taking too much stress, the stress hormone cortisol is released. And unlike PYY, it increases your appetite. You naturally tend to eat more, even if you don’t need to.

How you release stress is your personal decision and choice. Each of us are different, some relieve stress by traveling, some by meditation and others by just taking a break.

Reduce Sugar intake

Taking calories in the form of protein, carbohydrates, complex carbohydrates, and even fats to some extent is fine, but as we take sugar, we confuse our body and normal appetite, cause our bodies to only produce fat. This can affect your lifestyle in a negative way. Sugar is a different food group totally. In your journey to beat obesity, you have to restrict eating sugary foods (if not completely eliminate it).

Sleep well

Most of you must be thinking, now how does sleep play a role in kicking out obesity in your life? Well, sleep plays a role in your overall health, and not just maintaining or losing weight.

In fact, there are researches and studies showing that people sleeping less than 5 hours a day are more likely to gain weight and are gaining weight as compared to people sleeping for a sufficient 6-8 hours. Plus, sleep is the only time your body is at complete rest allowing it to heal from daily stress.

Add soluble fibre to your diet

Again, science is a benefactor to this event. Fibre aids weight loss because it forms a gel with the food in the digestive tract, slowing down as it passes. In simple words, this means you will feel full for longer periods of time. You will naturally eat less and in turn, avoid obesity. Now, add plenty of soluble fibre foods to your diet if you haven’t already.

Well, it is not going to be easy, because if it were the world would have been free of obesity. But it’s not as difficult as it seems either. Just stick to the process, do not quit, and soon as you start seeing the changes, it will become an addiction.
