Schapelle Corby GRILLED after sharing photo with Santa

She last celebrated Christmas in Australia way back in 2003.

So it’s no surprise Schapelle Corby is getting into the spirit of the silly season.

On Saturday, the festive felon, aged 40, shared a photo to Instagram showing herself sitting on Santa’s lap.

Naughty or nice? Convicted drug smuggler turned Instagram sensation Schapelle Corby was the subject of light-hearted jokes after sharing a snap with Santa Claus on Saturday

The social media sensation- who boasts 194,000 followers- looked jubilant as she cosied up to Father Christmas, beaming for the camera while wearing a summer dress patterned with polka dots.

Schapelle may have been telling Santa exactly what she wanted in her Christmas stocking, given her past experience finding surprise objects in her possession.

Beneath the happy snap the beauty left a lengthy caption thanking fans for supporting her throughout the year.

‘Did you ask him for a new boogy [sic] board bag for Christmas ?’ joked one.

‘Santa been smokin’ something,’ another would-be comic chimed in.

However, a number of comments were far more heartfelt, with one gushing: ‘Thank you for being a remarkable strong woman. We all love you. Merry Christmas darling girl’.

It’s believed Schapelle will be spending the festive season with her mum, Roz, and her sister, Mercedes.
