Police are hunting for an Indian predator who indecently assaulted a teenage girl as she walked to school in Melbourne’s north last week.
The man, aged in his 20s and wearing a fluro orange hi-vis jumper, approached the 15-year-old girl as she walked through a Reservoir shopping centre car park last Tuesday morning.
Police allege he followed her from behind and then attempted to indecently assault her as they crossed paths while making an inappropriate comment.
He fled the scene when the schoolgirl fought back and pushed his hand away.

Investigators have released CCTV stills of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Indian appearance, wearing navy blue work pants, black boots and a black baseball cap.
