Schwarzenegger shows support for former co-star

Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a statement Monday night following bombshell sexual assault allegations against alleged pedophile and stuntman Joel Kramer.

The statement came in response to actor Tom Arnold’s tweet addressing the issue, in which he showed support for Eliza Dushku and her courage to break the silence on the serious matter.

Arnold penned in the post: ‘I promise you @JimCameron @Schwarzenegger @jamieleecurtis would’ve done something too. We all love & are proud of @elizadushku #metoo’

Schwarzenegger, 70, responded: ‘Tom, you bet your a** all of us would have done something. I’m shocked and saddened for Eliza but I am also proud of her – beyond being a great talent and an amazing woman, she is so courageous.’

The 37-year-old actress wrote a detailed Facebook post over the weekend to revealed Kramer, who was 36 at the time, allegedly took her to a hotel room in Miami when she was just 12 and ‘rubbed all over’ her body until he was ‘finished’.

At the time, Dushku has been starring in one of her first breakout roles alongside Schwarzenegger in the 1994 action flick, ‘True Lies’.

On Sunday, co-star in the film Jamie Lee Curtis also showed her support for Dushku – who Curtis said informed her of the alleged assault in tragic revelation a few years ago.

In an opinion piece for HuffPost, Curtis wrote in part: ‘She had shared that story with me privately a few years ago,’ said Curtis, who played the mother of Dushku’s character in the motion picture. ‘I was shocked and saddened then and still am today.’

Curtis said that many of the actors in the film were ‘parents’, including herself, director James Cameron and co-star Schwarzenegger.

‘What allegedly happened to Eliza, away from the safety net of all of us and our purview is a terrible, terrible thing to learn about and have to reconcile.’

In a written statement to Deadline this week, Kramer was also accused of sexually assaulting an anonymous teen girl and a woman.

One of the alleged incidents happened with a 16-year-old in Kramer’s hotel following a visit on the set of 1997 mystery drama, ‘Virus,’ actress and stuntwoman Laura Albert revealed of the said event involving her sister’s friend.

It seems Kramer allegedly invited Albert’s sister and the friend down to the hotel pool, where he exposed his penis and told them, ‘you cannot handle this’. He then attempted to persuade both girls to join him back in his room.

Albert said her sister ended up leaving, but her 16-year-old friend followed the Emmy-nominated stunt coordinator, who was 39 at the time, back to the room, where they allegedly had sex.

In a second new claim from another unnamed stuntwoman, she said back in the in the late 70’s to early 80’s, Kramer allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him in his car somewhere in San Fernando Valley.

Kramer has since denied the claims, and said he was ‘shocked and depressed,’ according to Deadline.
