A California mother of six died one day before Mother’s Day after she rear-ended her boyfriend’s car during a lovers’-spat-turned-car-chase in Anaheim and was thrown from her vehicle, according to police.

Didiana Lomeli, 38, was killed chasing after her beau, Joe Trujillo, on Santa Ana Canyon Road in the City of Orange on May 7 just before 6 a.m. during a domestic row.

When her green 1997 Acura rammed his black 1994 Acura from behind at Orange Olive Road, she lost control and hit the raised median, causing her car to roll over, according to the Orange Police. She was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the roadway.

Lomeli, who has one child with her current boyfriend, was declared dead at the scene. He suffered minor injuries.

The child was not in either vehicle.

The deceased mom had been with Trujillo for four years, but family members had urged her to leave him.

‘It was jut very toxic there was a lot of domestic violence issues, we told her to just leave it. She went after him,’ cousin Suzzette Lomeli said.

Her family started a Gofundme page after the crash, asking the public’s support to pay for funeral costs.

‘They were always fighting,’ the cousin said. ‘The kids were told to keep quiet.’

She said that the children, who ages range from 21 to 2 and a half, were asleep at the time and don’t know why they were fighting this time.

Corrales could not be reached for comment.

There has been a lot of tragedy in the Lomeli family. The father of two of her middle children, ages 14 and nine, died last year from health issues.

Drugs and alcohol were not initially determined to be a factor in the crash, according to the Orange Police Department, which is investigating the accident.

Suzzette Lomeli remembered her cousin as a loving and caring mother.

‘Yesterday we lost a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, grandmother and an amazing mother that left behind 6 kids in a tragic accident,’ she wrote on the fundraising page. ‘Didi was such a happy and loving person always willing to help everyone and anyone she could. It is with a heavy heart that I ask for any help for my uncles so they may lay their daughter to rest.’
