Her dazzling look came just days after Mrs Morrison looked radiant in an emerald green jumpsuit at the Midwinter Ball on Wednesday night in Canberra.
Mrs Morrison chose the Ginger & Smart’s Sonorous outfit, which sells for $659.
Her sartorial elegance has impressed photographer Alana Landsberry, who took a profile image of her at Sydney’s Kirribilli House in February with her dog Buddy.
‘She was a kind and warm lady who was radiant in front of the camera,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
The Morrisons are being feted in the White House rose garden on Saturday morning, Australian time, complete with a violin serenade and 2,500 yellow roses from California that pay homage to Australia’s golden wattle.
Mr Morrison will be the first Australian prime minister in 13 years to attend an American state dinner.

At that summit in Biarritz, Mrs Morrison wore another Carla Zampatti design.
On that occasion, it was a blush pink halter blouse and ivory trousers for a tour of the French village of Espelette.
She was in the company of Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron – the only other world leader President Trump has ever hosted a state dinner for.
At an official dinner later, she wore a Carla Zampatti navy satin puffed sleeve dress.
Ms Zampatti has expressed delight at Mrs Morrison choosing her outfits for official visits to France and the US.
