Scrub Daddy was popularised by cleaning experts on TikTok and it’s been a staple overseas for years.
Customers claim the product is good for everything, from kitchen pots and pans, to shower screens, BBQs and couches.
‘They are really good. They go harder in cold water, softer in hot, can go in the dishwasher. They clean really well, last for ages and they don’t scratch glass or steel,’ one woman said.

‘Super satisfying before and after. Scrub daddy was used to remove years of grime and oil on this stove top,’ one woman said.
The product’s patented FlexTexture material sets the sponge from just about every other brand on the market because it allows users to control their ‘scrubbing power’.
The sponge first made headlines after American founder Aaron Krause debuted the product on Shark Tank USA in October 2012. According to CEO magazine, the company is worth US$170million (AU$235million).
Several parents say they are delighted the sponges became so popular on TikTok as it seems to have inspired their kids to clean.

‘My 12-year-old has been asking for these to do the dishes with! I think I just found the best birthday gift!’ another wrote.
