Sea of black cabs close London Bridge to traffic

London Bridge was completely blocked off by black cab drivers protesting against Transport for London and Uber.

The massive demonstration saw cabbies flock to the bridge this evening — causing significant disruption to commuters in the capital.

City of London police warned the action could have seen the bridge sealed off until at least 8pm.

However it was reopened to traffic again shortly before 7pm.
