Search for Sydney boy 9 with an intellectual disability

  • A desperate search is underway for a missing boy with an intellectual disability 
  • The 9-year-old was last seen in Cross Street, Balgowlah at 4.30pm on Friday
  • Police are appealing for assistance to locate the missing Northern Beaches boy
  • He is described as being of Mediterranean appearance with short black hair 

A desperate search is underway for a 9-year-old Sydney boy with an intellectual disability who has been missing since Friday afternoon.

Mario Caruso was last seen in Cross Street in Balgowlah at Northern Beaches around 4.30pm on Friday before his disappearance was reported to police. 

An appeal is now seeking public assistance to help locate the missing boy.

A desperate search is underway for Mario Caruso who has an intellectual disability and was reported missing on Friday afternoon 

Mario’s family and officers are seriously concerned for his welfare as he has a mild intellectual disability. 

The schoolboy is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, 150cm tall, with a medium build and short black hair.

He was last see wearing a t-shirt, grey shorts and brown boots

Anyone with information about his location is urged to contact Triple Zero immediately.
