Season 2 of Isla Fisher’s Aussie hit horror comedy Wolf Like Me coming to Stan in October
Streaming giant Stan has announced that the second season of supernatural comedy-drama Wolf Like Me will premiere on October 19.
The quirky Stan Original series is a twist on the rom-com, with Aussie actress Isla Fisher playing a werewolf called Mary, who falls for a lonely single-parent Gary, played by American actor Josh Gad.
Fans of the hit series can look forward to some bizarre twists in the new seven-part season, as the couple struggle with the news that they are about to welcome a baby…
But will the child be ‘normal’ and or will Mary birth a ‘wolf pup’ ?
More complications in the story arise when a man from Mary’s past called Anton, (Dr. Death’s Édgar Ramírez), pops up to create havoc in her new life.

Mary and Gary’s future is then thrown into jeopardy, and the couple must decide whether they are meant to be together.
Star Josh Gad, 42, is best known to fans as the voice of Olaf in the Frozen franchise, while Isla Fisher, 47, rose to fame on Home and Away.
The red-head later won a new audience with a continuing role on the hit comedy Arrested Development.
Creator and director Abe Forsythe said in a statement that fans look forward to more comedy this season as well as a story line where ‘anything can happen’.
The premiere of first season of the half-hour series which Forsythe said was based on his ‘personal experiences’ became of Stan’s most watched shows ever.

Forsythe, who is the son of veteran Aussie actor and comedian Drew Forsythe, has made the low-key local features Down Under and Little Monsters.
Also featured in the cast this season are Ariel Donoghue (Blueback), Wonderland’s Emma Lung (Wonderland), Anthony Taufa (Young Rock), and Honour Latukefu.
All episodes of Wolf Like Me were filmed in Australia and were made in conjunction with NBC Universal’s streaming service Peacock in the U.S.
