The Crown pays tribute to Prince George by featuring his £120 Pepa & Co coat on a young Prince Andrew – in a scene filmed at the same church where George wore the jacket

His mother, Kate Middleton, is a fashion icon for many – and now it seems even Prince George’s style choices are being replicated.
Season three of Netflix’s The Crown unexpectedly paid tribute to the young royal, six, by featuring the same £120 Pepa & Co wool the young prince wore in 2016, for a church service in Berkshire.
The popular royal drama, which follows the British monarchy during the years 1964 to 1976 for this series, returned to our screens on Sunday.
And in episode seven, child actor Marlo Woolley, who plays a young Prince Andrew, is wearing the very jacket previously sported by George, according to People.
The scene was even shot at exactly the same place where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s son was snapped almost three years ago, at St Mark’s Church, Englefield, Berkshire.
In episode seven of The Crown, the child actor playing a young Prince Andrew is wearing a coat sported by Prince George in 2016. In the drama, Andrew is seen leaving the church with (right to left) Olivia Coleman, who plays the role of Queen Elizabeth, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Marion Bailey as the Queen Mother and Erin Doherty as Princess Anne

Meanwhile, George donned the traditional double-breasted wool coat from Pepa & Co when attending a Christmas Day church service.
He joined his mother, Kate, and father Prince William, both 37, for the occasion, as well as his younger sister Princess Charlotte, 4.

While the exact £120 style is no longer available, a similar traditional grey wool coat version is on offer for £160 on the Pepa & Co website.
The London-based children’s clothing brand is a much-loved favourite with the Cambridges, as both George and Charlotte own several outfits from the firm.

But while George’s style seemed to be an inspiration for the drama, it is unlikely his parents will see it as Olivia recently said the prince doesn’t watch the show.
Speaking on the Graham Norton show earlier this month, the leading actress said: ‘I met Prince William at a dinner and he asked what I was doing at the moment, before he quickly added, “Actually, I know what you’re doing”.
‘I was so excited and asked, “have you watched it?” His answer was a firm, “No.” But he was very charming and very lovely.’
