Second man, 25, charged over the horrific rape of two-year-old girl in Tennant Creek

A second man has been charged over the horrific alleged rape of a two-year-old girl who tested positive for a sexually transmitted disease.

The 25-year-old was charged with sexual intercourse without consent over an incident in Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory on February 15.

The man has been remanded in custody and will face court on July 26, 2018. 

In late February a 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with sexual assault over the incident.

The two-year-old girl tested positive to gonorrhoea months after the ordeal, which left her in an induced coma.
