The building used to be a Target before closing in 2021 to make way for the Kmart superstore concept which is a first for the popular chain.  

Split over three huge storeys, the 5,000sqm retail space features Kmart’s huge range of clothing, homewares, electronics, furniture and more in aisles that stretch as far as the eye can see and has employed more than 170 staff. 

The ground floor houses apparel, accessories and beauty items while the first level has homewares, furniture, kitchenware and appliances, while on the underground story customers can find fitness equipment, technology and the customer service desk.

TikToker and Kmart fanatic Islah Palmer impressed Kmart lovers after posting a video of her visit to the huge store.  

‘Excuse me three storey??? BRB going to Melbourne,’ one viewer said. 

‘I’d be here for hours,’ another admitted. 

‘I live in Melbourne and didn’t even know there was a three storey Kmart,’ a third wrote. 

‘Manifesting they bring one to Sydney,’ hoped a fourth.
