The star made a heartfelt plea to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey as she told the story of a family that drowned near her hometown during the Hand In Hand telethon on Tuesday evening.
‘I come from Grand Prairie, about 250 miles away from the Saldivar’s home,’ she said while holding back tears.
The singer broke down in tears during a taped portion of the fundraiser as she remembered the lives of the Saldivar family.
