Selena Gomez shows off new looks from Rare Beauty make-up line’s fall collection on social media

Selena Gomez served as her own best advertisement on Wednesday while promoting her Rare Beauty make-up line on social media.

The 30-year-old singer wore heavy smoky eye make-up while promoting her new fall collection available at Sephora on Instagram.

She wore a black top with white polka dots and images of flying insects along with dangling earrings for a promo video on the Rare Beauty page on Instagram.

‘Rare Beauty’s New Collection Is Here!,’ read a banner message along with the clip for the make-up line’s nearly 6 million followers.

Selena in the clip said the new fall collection was all about eyes and brows and noted the brow pencil was ‘very precise and smooth’.

She also plugged the eye shadow stick claiming it was ‘super creamy’ and would make any eye pop and revealed that she uses the gel liner while traveling.

Selena also shared images of herself along with other models showing off the new collection on her own Instagram page.

‘My new @RareBeauty collection has arrived at @Sephora and RareBeauty.com.

I’ve been wearing it for a while now and I love how easy everything is to use – these are my new must-haves. This collection is something I’m really proud of and I can’t wait to see all of your looks!,’ she posted as a caption for her roughly 425 million followers.

Selena also promoted the Rare Beauty fall collection last month on social media and said it was ‘all about self-expression and self-acceptance’.

Rare Beauty was launched by Selena in September 2020 and was inspired by her 2020 album Rare.

Selena recently returned from two months in France where she was shooting the movie Emilia Perez, alongside Zoe Saldaña.

The film is described as a crime drama musical focusing on a lawyer in Mexico who must help a notorious cartel boss retire, disappear and become the woman he’s always dreamed of becoming.

In an Instagram post June 22, Selena told her fans, ‘Working on this film has completely changed my life. I can’t wait to share more soon! Love you all.’

Selena has also been back in the music studio, hinting at new releases.

‘The music I’m doing right now is about real things that I’m walking through,’ the singer and songwriter she told Vanity Fair in February.

‘It’s really powerful, strong, very pop. The theme generally is freedom — freedom from relationships, freedom from the darkness.’
