Thrilled 13-year-old Ryan McKenna was captured on live TV pausing to snap a selfie with the ‘Rock Your Body’ singer as the pop star barreled through the stands toward the end of his Super Bowl LII show at US Bank Stadium Sunday night.
JT gabbed with members of the audience and blurted out, ‘Thank you Minneapolis!,’ when McKenna made his move.
‘Super Bowl selfies!,’ JT shouted out as he walked back down from the stands and slapped high-fives to fans.

McKenna’s innocent face made its way around the internet instantly after he starred on the big screen.
Twitter users rejoiced in his heyday by posting a load of hilarious statuses next to the meme.

The father to the new kid star spoke to reporters after the momentous evening and explained why his son was gazing at his phone half the time.
‘My phone started blowing up,’ dad John McKenna told Twin Cities Pioneer Press.
‘It died, like, instantly after it happened. We had friends from all over reaching out. I couldn’t believe it.’

The seventh grader went on to say: ‘I don’t even know what to think… all my friends have been texting me and stuff. It’s insane.’
He added that since the incident he’s become the talk of his middle school, Derby Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts.
‘My phone is almost dead,’ McKenna added. ‘I’ve gotten so many notifications. I’ve got like 36 Snapchats, like 21 DMs, and like 150 follower requests on Instagram.’
John McKenna is still shocked over the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
‘We had the great opportunity to come see the Super Bowl. Never in a million years did we think this would happen.’
