The post read: ‘Hot off season five of Netflix’s hit real estate docuseries, Chrishell tells Yahoo! ‘I’m used to selling houses, but I’ve never bought a kid before, and this adult was only $36.’

‘Although we have yet to hear any confirmation from G-Flip directly, their Instagram Story flaunts a new drum kit with a sign that says ‘For Baby’, possibly referring to the 200 pound lesbian the couple has just adopted.

The post was picked up by Instagram page Comments By Celebs, after Chrishell wrote in the comments section of Grace’s snap: ‘Jason punching the air. Thank you to all your well wishes for our bundle of joy [sic]’

While G-Flip added: ‘We are so so thrilled. Thank you so much x’

Only joking! Chrishell later had to clarify that she hadn't really adopted the 25-year-old comic, as she took to her Stories to say the amount of people who can't take a joke is 'startling'

Chrishell later had to clarify that she hadn’t really adopted the 25-year-old comic, as she took to her Stories to say the amount of people who can’t take a joke is ‘startling’.

She wrote: ‘The amount of people in the comments & replies to this that don’t understand that it is a JOKE is actually startling.

‘Soo tempting to post some of the replies. I am happy and can take a joke! This comedian made me laugh with her post.

‘But no guys, we did not adopt an adult for $36 on Facebook Marketplace. Lol.’

The jokey post comes after Chrishell suggested she will go down the route of adoption after splitting from Jason Oppenheim over his reluctance to have children.

Poking fun at Maya Vander’s confused reaction to her dating non-binary star G-Flip during the Selling Sunset sunset, Chrishell shared a meme of the moment and wrote: ‘Me realising how many people didn’t know you can adopt on your own.’

The post hinted that Chrishell, 40, is considering adopting a child herself as she went on to wish her followers a ‘happy mother’s day – no matter how they got there’.

The real estate agent, wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to ALL of the mothers that are with us and to those that no longer are. Absolutely no matter how you got there.

‘Maya is a supportive beautiful mom and we laughed about this before posting. I know a lot of you are confused. But what is important is that I am not.

‘Thank you to the beautiful open minds that have shown support. I want to hug you.’

During series five of the hit real estate drama, Chrishell and her then-boyfriend Jason discussed freezing embryos as they planned to become parents.

While the broker was honest throughout the series about his uncertainty surrounding becoming a father, he ultimately decided he wasn’t ready and the couple decided to go their separate ways.

Addressing her desire children during the reunion ep, Chrishell said: ‘You guys saw that I had this series relationship and obviously and I am hoping to have a family. But I’ve also taken some pressure off myself as far as what that looks like.

‘I don’t necessarily have to have the child myself. I’m open to adoption, things like that. I’m just kind of enjoying right now, and having a lot of fun and dating.’

Chrishell also opened up about her love life to People ahead of her upcoming memoir Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work.

Discussing the split and having children in the future, she said: ‘It’s bittersweet. You can’t talk out this problem. It’s just something that, it is what it is. We’ll see what happens with my future, but I definitely think that I’m keeping all my options open.

‘I would love for that to happen, but if it doesn’t, I feel like I can do it on my own. That’s something that seems scary, but it also seems a little freeing, knowing that I’m not tied down to this idea that I only have this finite amount of time to figure it out.’

Chrishell was previously married to actor Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021 but the two never had children.

The reality personality, who is now dating non-binary singer G-Flip, made it clear who she was with wasn’t going to define whether or not she had kids.

She said she has been reevaluating her views on love, and said ‘My whole life, I had this idea of Cinderella — a guy sweeps you off your feet, you live happily ever after,’ she said.

‘But it’s a new world out there and I’ve just decided we were all messed up a little bit by Cinderella. Sometimes you have to be your own fairy godmother.’

As for her book, Chrishell said she really wanted to open up in order to help her fans relate more to her own struggles.

‘Having connected with so many people through the failures that I have had, it really does feel so much more obtainable when you have people that you feel like you’re going through it with them,’ she said.

‘Nobody wants to hear criticism about their love life or their aging ovaries or whatever. I don’t think it’s something that I would’ve volunteered for, but now that I’ve found myself here and I’m embracing it, I think that it’s helping me to just live out loud a little bit.
