Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet revealed she had a love affair with an unnamed profession baseball player from the New York Yankees – which she dishes about in her new book Selling Sunshine: Surviving Teenage Motherhood, Thriving in Luxury Real Estate, and Finally Finding My Voice.
The reality star – who recently spoke out about her traumatizing sexual assault – did not reveal his name but described him as an MLB player who was on the ‘New York Yankees and multiple other big-name teams’ in his career.
The Netflix star said that he had told her he was getting a divorce, but that lie unraveled when she saw his wife and son on TV at his game.
‘The truth was revealed, and everything fell apart. I wasn’t able to attend one of his baseball games, so I watched it on TV from home,’ she said in her book, via Us Weekly.
Adding: ‘I guess I shouldn’t have been shocked when, a few innings in, the cameraman flashed on the smiling faces of his wife and son.
