Senior citizens brawl, road rage at Glass House Mountains

This is the shocking moment a road rage incident ends with two senior citizens brawling in the middle of the road.

Footage posted by Dash Cam Owners Australia shows two vehicles, a 4WD and sedan, dangerously weaving in and out of lanes at the Glass House Mountains in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast region.

The terrifying footage, taken on Wednesday, shows the two drivers illegally overtaking each other before stopping suddenly, getting out of their cars, and coming to blows in the middle of the road.

The action, caught on Dash Cam footage by a vehicle behind them, are seen following each other at a dangerously close distance.

The 4WD takes a right turn before the sedan follows, and turns onto the wrong side of the road in an attempt to overtake the 4WD.

The cars drive neck and neck, before the 4WD overtakes the sedan on a blind corner.

The two drivers continue along the windy Glass House Mountains road until they come to a halt in the middle of the road, forcing the driver behind them to break.

The man filming the brawl can be heard reciting the men’s registration numbers before driving off and leaving the bitter drivers to resolve their grievances.

‘Wow and they say it’s the young ones that have lost the plot,’ one woman said.

‘They were oblivious to anyone around them, only interested in their own agenda and put everyone’s life in danger, I hope this is shared to the local cops, they both crossed double lines for starters.’

One woman said she was ‘disgusted’ by the men’s behaviour.

‘For two old guys, you would think they would be setting an example to others,’ she said.

‘These two old duffers are a great example to the younger drivers,’ another woman said.

‘No wonder we have so much road rage with these muppets on the road. Old enough to know better.’

While most condemned the drivers’ behaviour, one man took aim at the Dash Cam driver for not stepping in to help.

‘Why did the Dash Cam driver not get out and attempt to stop this. If one had fallen and hit his head on concrete and died, would you feel any form of regret, or were you just there and laughing,’ one man said.

‘Wondering if it was your father would you want someone to step in?’
