Serial driving pest influencer claims she’s now earning $100k a year off her property portfolio

Australian model Eileen Cassidy has announced a major real estate win after offloading a Brisbane investment property she bought for $559,000 in 2022.

Located in Chermside, 10km from the CBD, the new two-bedroom, two-bathroom pad went under the hammer for $699,000.

The 32-year-old model, who is based in Bali, said she purchased the chic spread off the plan and was leasing it out for an eye-watering $675 a week before deciding to cash in.

Cassidy, who made headlines in October 2021 after pleading guilty to driving while having a suspended licence, claims she has been making ‘$100,000 a year’ off her real estate portfolio.

‘At this stage, I’ve got three investment properties under my belt so I’m taking a bit of a break until they’ve given me a little bit of return, so I can continue saving,’ she told The Courier Mail on Tuesday.

‘I’ve put myself in a decent position where I can sit tight and just enjoy for a while. At this point, I’ll be continuing to invest overseas in the future.’

Cassidy told the publication that she bought her first investment property in 2019.

Her recent sale is situated in Pinnacle Residences, a recent development which boasts a pool and al fresco entertainment deck.

According to real estate sales agents Position Property the pad has soared in valued since Cassidy bought it two years ago and is now worth $725,000

It comes after the Australian model pleaded guilty to driving while having a suspended licence in 2021.

Cassidy claimed she made an ‘honest’ mistake because of her jet-setting lifestyle.

The glamorous influencer faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court after she was pulled over by police in April 2019, The Herald Sun reported.

The incident saw Ms Cassidy charged and her car impounded for 30 days at a cost of almost $900.

Cassidy, who boasts 217,000 Instagram followers, works as a model in Australia and Bali and runs an online fashion brand called Reveuse Collective.

It was the latest in a string of legal woes for serial driving pest Ms Cassidy.

Ms Cassidy has been charged with several driving offences dating back to 2010.

In July 2020, she was charged by Victoria Police for using her phone while driving.

Ms Cassidy was spotted by officers looking at her phone while stopped at an intersection in St Kilda when they pulled her over.

At the time, Ms Cassidy claimed she was merely ‘playing with her rings’, however the police rejected this argument and claimed they’d seen a phone in her hand.

She received a fine and four demerit points.
