A convicted child sex offender is under investigation after it was alleged he was hosting wild parties at a $2000-a-night holiday mansion.
Corey John Ahlburg, 45, is the owner and host of a luxurious beach-side guesthouse at Moana, near Adelaide.
The house has gained a reputation for lavish parties annoying nearby residents, according to the Sunday Mail.
Corey John Ahlburg was convicted after having sex with two underage girls when he was 20
He was given a year-long prison sentence, and later crashed his car while out on parole
Ahlburg is listed as the owner of this luxurious clifftop property at Moana, near Adelaide
After the local Onkapringa Council were notified of what the house was being used for and who owned it, they decided to investigate further.
The spacious clifftop villa known as Ora Luxury Villa is advertised on AirBnb for $2000 a night.
Features of the property include a swimming pool, spa, grand piano and four bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathroom.
On the villa’s website, potential guests are told that Ahlburg will ‘tailor an experience to suit your needs from private drivers to chefs on demand, whatever your heart wants is our desire’.
Ahlburg was denied entry into Bali on August 27 on the grounds of his criminal history.
The property with seafront views and large open spaces is advertised for $2000 per night
Rowdy parties at the villa have drawn the ire of neighbours and the local council is investigating
He was found guilty of unlawful sexual intercourse with two drunk girls, aged 15 and 16, at his house after a party when he was 20 years old.
Ahlburg was given a year-long prison sentence. While out on parole in 1997, he crashed into an oncoming car while driving on the wrong side of the road, killing a woman.
He was found not guilty of causing death by dangerous driving but was convicted of driving without due care and imprisoned for just under 10 months.
Ahlberg was refused entry into Bali when he attempted to visit the country earlier this year
Onkapringa Council corporate and city services acting director Renee Mitchell confirmed to the Sunday Mail they were investigating the property.
Corey Ahlburg and Onkapringa Council have been contacted by Daily Mail Australia for comment.
