And John Lydon was seemingly up to his old tricks since he was reportedly barred from his own premiere after-party on Tuesday night – for being too drunk.
The 61-year-old star, also known by his stage name Johnny Rotten, was allegedly turned away by security from the bash following the screening of his documentary Public Image Is Rotten in London’s Leicester Square.

According to The Sun, he was refused entry from a nearby bar three times, despite the party being hosted for him.
An insider told the paper: ‘Only Johnny Rotten could be banned from his own party, but he was barely able to stand. He played the perfect hell-raiser.’
John is said to have got into a war of words with the security guards on the door, who refused to let him inside.
Despite his valliant efforts to get in, John reportedly admitted defeated, heading off with his wife Nora Forster and his entourage.

John has kept a relatively low profile of late, making a rare public appearance with his wife at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York back in April to attend the premiere of his new film Public Image Is Rotten.
The Public Image Is Rotten is a film about Public Image Ltd., the chaotic band that John put together after the Sex Pistols split up in 1978 and which he has kept going for over 40 years.
The punk star also spoke about his alter ego, the gnarly, anarchic, snarling and slurring Johnny Rotten.

‘Johnny Rotten was a piece of work,’ he admitted in the documentary. ‘I wanted to be Johnny Rotten.’
He also spoke movingly of his wife Nora, telling The Telegraph that she was a ‘saucy girl’.
‘She’s not public fodder, she’s a very private person. But it’s love, you know. I’ve always loved that woman.
‘When we met we didn’t expect to get on. We’d both been told the other was a bad ‘un. But blimey. Sparks flew. It was instant attraction.
‘And that’s never gone. I never expected to feel like that. I never thought I was in any way attractive. Or anyone’s idea of a good date.’
