A convicted sexual predator who allegedly cut off his ankle monitor and fled has been captured by police.
Authorities arrested Johnathan Bradley Allen, 33, on Thursday night after he was seen walking along a road in St. Cloud, Click Orlando reports.
Police say he provided them with a false name and then ‘violently slapped’ a deputy’s arm.
The deputy and a K-9 found Allen, who needed to be treated for a dog bite.
He has been charged with violation of his parole for cutting off the ankle monitor, as well as battery on a law enforcement officer and providing false information.
Allen was convicted of sexual battery on a child younger than 12 years old in 2005.
Authorities say he cut off his ankle monitor and ditched it nearly 30 miles away.
Officials believd Allen was driving a white 2016 Ford Fiesta with the license plate number GVTQ55.
His last registered address was at The Friendly Village Inn in Kissimmee, Florida (pictured)

He allegedly cut off the ankle monitor on Wednesday and fled, prompting a large-scale manhunt.
‘Detectives have been here, and the Sheriff’s Office has been here,’ said one of the residents of the Inn. ‘They’re on a full hunt for him.’
