The officer then immediately returned to his patrol vehicle to ask for help.

Initially, the officer didn’t know what happened since the windows of the SFPD officer’s car were tinted.

The Richmond officers used beanbag rounds to shatter the windows of the vehicle. They then approached the vehicle and found the dead man inside.

Authorities have yet to release the name of the dead officer, though the car is registered to Antonio Cacatian, a San Francisco police officer.
