Fourteen years have passed since Robert Pires and Thierry Henry were left red-faced when their two-man penalty routine backfired.
Fast forward to Tuesday night and two Shakhtar Donetsk youngsters showed the Arsenal legends how it is done after pulling off a clever version of their own in the UEFA Youth League match against Atalanta.
While the match finished 2-2, the tandem penalty, scored by Georgy Sudakov, quickly went viral on social media as football fans reminisced about the botched effort back in 2005.
The tandem penalty is rare but has been pulled off successfully before.
Lionel Messi teed up Barcelona team-mate Luis Suarez in 2016 and Johann Cruyff made the routine famous in 1982 when he showcased it with Jesper Olsen.
Pires was the designated taker when he attempted it with Henry but it did not go to plan.
The French midfielder runs with purpose before nudging the ball to the left, only to see two Manchester City players come charging in ahead of Henry to clear.
