Shakira was recently honored during Billboard’s ongoing Latin Music Week event, which is being held in Miami.
The performer shared a clip from the event to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, in which she was shown while being presented with four platinum records in recognition of the success of her tracks Acrostico and Copa Vacia.
The first of the pair was released this past May and featured vocals from her sons Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven.
Acrostico has since been nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Song of the Year, which will be given out next month.
Shakira has earned the award on two occasions, with her most recent win occurring in 2016.
Copa Vacia, on which she collaborated with Manuel Turizo, made its debut in June, and it subsequently peaked at the number one spot on Billboard’s US Latin Pop Airplay chart.
Although she appeared to be making the most of her time at the event, the songwriter was recently charged with tax evasion in Spain for the second time.

According to NBC, Spanish authorities have alleged that the hitmaker utilized an offshore company to avoid paying taxes of 6.7 million euros in 2018.

Prosecutors first alleged that the singer failed to pay taxes between 2012 and 2014 in July of 2021.
The hitmaker, who is scheduled to head to court this November, has maintained her innocence over the length of her legal saga.
