Maybe that’s why the 47-year-old made the cringe-worthy move of sharing a six-year-old paparazzi shot of himself at London airport to social media accounts earlier this week.
Posting to his Instagram and Twitter accounts, the sports star seemingly tried to trick fans into believing it was a recent photo taken as he arrived in the English capital on Monday.

Making no reference to the age of the image, Shane captioned the post: ‘Hello Big smoke, it’s good to be back #London’.
The same photo also appears as the first result on Google Images when the terms ‘Shane Warne London airport’ are typed in, hinting that the cricketer may have used the popular search engine to find the picture.
Featuring a slimmed-down and taut-faced version of Shane, the image previously appeared on Daily Mail in July 2011.

The accompanying story featured the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestant and then-girlfriend Liz Hurley preparing to catch a flight to South Africa from London Heathrow.
However, it appears Shane didn’t want to include the English actress on his Instagram, as he chose to use an image that cropped Liz out.
