And while Shannon Noll has enjoyed success in his native country, he hasn’t been able to replicate the same success in the United Kingdom.
On Sunday, 42-year-old singer surprisingly blamed his failure on powerful music executive, Simon Cowell.

Shannon made the shock allegation on the Australian version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of here on Sunday night.
He told his fellow campers: ‘F**k Simon Cowell! Tell him I said “Get f**ked” if he can hear’.
Shannon then explained that his debut single What About Me hit No. 2 on Ireland’s music charts back in 2004.

However, Simon was reluctant to release it in the United Kingdom.
Shannon said: ‘Simon Cowell was going, “Just because it works in Ireland don’t mean it’ll work in England”.’
He then claimed that Simon ‘signed the runner-up of X Factor and cut What About Me on his own. Sold a million albums’.
As Shannon’s version of What About Me was itself a cover, there was nothing he could do.

While Simon did indeed sign X Factor star Shayne Ward to his music label and he did record the song for his debut album, it was never released as a single
Meanwhile, Shannon’s version of events was met by gasps from his fellow camp mates, including Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies.
‘That’s slack… That’s horrible. That’s bad karma,’ she said.
Shannon then went on to call Simon an ‘a**ehole’ and a ‘f**king idiot’.
During his time in the jungle, Shannon has already impressed the other celebrities with his vocal abilities, including ’80s pop star Tiffany.
Tiffany was reduced to tears as Shannon belted out an acoustic song on his guitar, which was also met with praise from fans on social media.
