In the image, the 43-year-old singer flexed his muscles while posing on a park bench.

Shannon was arrested on September 13 in Caringbah, in Sydney’s south, after a dog squad search.

The singer was arrested for possessing a prohibited drug and will appear in court on October 11.

The country music star has been embroiled in controversy after directing a foul-mouthed tirade at a fan who threw a beer can at his head.

He was performing at Duck Creek Picnic Races in central New South Wales on July 7 when he became enraged by the troublesome heckler.

Shannon apologised for his behaviour the next day, posting on social media: ‘I completely understand that that is still no excuse for the way I spoke and I am deeply sorry for the terrible things I said that were purely out of frustration.’

Despite sparking several controversies this year, the former Australian Idol star is currently enjoying a musical comeback of sorts.

His fifth studio album, Unbroken, reached No. 7 on the ARIA charts in February.
