Shannon Noll’s manager denies singer’s pregnant wife Rochelle ‘demanded he attend anger management’

Shannon Noll’s manager has brushed off a claims the singer’s wife Rochelle forced him to attend anger management classes in the wake of his latest outbursts.

On Monday, an insider alleged to Woman’s Day that the pregnant mother-of-two asked Shannon, 42, to seek help in an effort to control his anger issues, but his representative appeared to deny the report to Daily Mail Australia.

In a brief statement, Shannon’s manager claimed he had not heard anything about Shannon attending anger management until Daily Mail Australia alerted him to Woman’s Day’s story.

The manager’s statement was in response to claims that Rochelle is ‘fed up’ with Shannon’s onstage rants.

‘Shannon knows as much as anyone he needs to get his temper under control and he can’t keep lashing out,’ a source reportedly claimed to Woman’s Day.

‘He’d do anything to make Rochelle happy and if that means talking to someone then he’s willing to give it a try.’

It comes after the Australian Idol star went on a tirade against the beer-throwing heckler that led to a previous onstage meltdown.

During a concert at the Gold Coast’s Parkwood Tavern on Saturday night, the singer addressed the controversy by thanking fans for their support and doubling down on his original comments.

‘I wanna thank everybody for coming out tonight,’ he said. ‘I understand that it’s a bit of a tough week to be a Shannon Noll supporter, that’s for sure!

Shannon was referring to comments he made during an earlier onstage rant, in which he told a male heckler who threw beer at him that he’d ‘f**k’ his wife and mother.

After clarifying that he didn’t mean to offend any women, Shannon continued to explain the events of the incident to the cheering Gold Coast crowd.

‘He nearly hit me in the head with a can and it was about the 400th can thrown, so I was just trying to belittle the little p***k, because no one was doing anything,’ he said.

‘People twist your meaning and I didn’t mean to offend any ladies or anything like that, so please understand that.

‘I would like to bash the p**s out the w**ker though, that’s for sure!’

Footage of Shannon’s original tirade quickly went viral after it was caught on camera last week.

The singer singled out a man who pelted a full can of beer at him on stage, saying: ‘That f**khead in the tie… Come on pretty boy, you’re a f**kig maggot. Have some f**king balls and come up here instead of throwing something from there!

‘Cheap shot pr**k… Shame that pr**k! Shame that motherf**ker right there. F**khead private school stupid f**k head motherf**ker!’

He apologised for the incident the next day in a lengthy Facebook post, saying he was ‘deeply sorry for the terrible things he said’, but insisted that the man’s actions were ‘not acceptable.’

‘I would like to apologise for my behaviour and language at Saturday night’s Duck Creek Picnic Races,’ Shannon began.

He continued: ‘During our set there were people in the audience throwing cans and bottles at the stage and after one guy threw a full can just missing my head it really rattled me.’

While the What About Me star said the man’s actions were ‘not acceptable’, he conceded that it was ‘no excuse for the way I spoke’.
