Shannon Sharpe has been given the chance to cash in on his accidental foray into adult entertainment with a porn website offering him $100,00 to join their platform.
Sharpe streamed himself having sex live on Instagram on Wednesday, before later explaining that it happened by accident when he threw his phone to the floor. He initially said he was hacked.
Now, he’s had a lucrative offer from ‘The Porn Dude’ to get in front of the camera.
They told TMZ: ‘We would love to offer him a solid $100,000.
‘If he’s looking to make a career change, tell him we’ve got a jersey ready for him!’

It seems unlikely Sharpe will take the offer up though. After initially claiming he had been hacked, Sharpe revealed what actually happened on his ‘nightcap’ show on Wednesday night.
‘I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons. People count on Shannon to be professional, even when I’m behind closed doors,’ he said on Wednesday night.
‘Someone that is extremely, extremely private and to have one of your most intimate details – the audio – heard for the entire world to hear, I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons.
‘I’m very disappointed in myself, not for the act. There are millions and billions of people of consenting age who participate in activities.
‘I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity,’ Sharpe said. ‘I did not know IG live. I’ve never turned IG live on so I don’t know how it works and all of sudden my other phone started going off.’
The woman can be heard moaning throughout the video, while she at other points appears to say the name Shannon. Sharpe declined to identify the woman during the live stream.
Nonetheless, the camera was pointed at the ground for the majority of the clip – and the ex-NFL star said earlier Wednesday that he was hacked.
‘Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out — UNC,’ Sharpe posted on his Instagram story before deleting his message.

A screen recording of the Instagram Live shows that more than 6,500 people were simultaneously tuned into the video at one point.
Sharpe, 56, has never been married and explained why on an episode of his Club Shay Shay podcast last year.
‘I would’ve loved to have gotten married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important thing,’ he told Chad Johnson. ‘So I was no good. I was a terrible father, I probably was a terrible brother, terrible son – I definitely was a terrible boyfriend. Because football was the most important thing.’
Sharpe, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has three adult children – a son and two daughters.
