Shannon Sharpe may soon be teaming up with Stephen A. Smith, but he’s also joining forces with Colin Cowherd, as the pair shared on Wednesday.

In a video posted to X, Sharpe and Cowherd jointly announced that the NFL Hall of Famer would be bringing his ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast to The Volume, a sports podcasting company owned by Cowherd.

The podcast was previously hosted on Fox Sports before Sharpe left the network in June.

‘We’re in business together bro,’ Sharpe said in a video announcement.

‘I’ve decided to bring ‘Club Shay Shay’ over and partner with you. When we first started, you said ‘Hey, give me an opportunity. Hear what everybody else has to say.’ I listened to everybody but I felt The Volume was the best place for me.’

Sharpe added in a statement, ‘The Volume has built an amazing platform that is the right fit to help Shay Shay Media reach the next level. That includes developing new shows and bringing on new talent under the Shay Shay Media brand.’

Cowherd said, ‘There are very few people in sports media that cut through like Shannon Sharpe. ‘We are excited to partner with him and his team Shay Shay Media and co-produce original content with them.’

The Volume also produces podcasts from Draymond Green, Richard Sherman, Daniel Cormier and more.

And Sharpe may have more news to announce soon.

According to Front Office Sports, his move to ESPN’s First Take could be announced as soon as Thursday.

Following Sharpe’s split from Skip Bayless on FS1’s ‘Undisputed,’ Smith confirmed he wanted Sharpe on ‘First Take.’

First Take currently utilizes a rotating cast of ex-athletes and personalities alongside Smith, including former NBA sharpshooter JJ Redick and ex-WFAN host Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo.

According to the New York Post, Sharpe is set to join the show twice weekly during the NFL season.
