Shark Tank Australia returns after five years with a new cast of business gurus

Meet Shark Tank Australia’s new batch of investors as the competition series returns after five years with a fashion CEO, a tech guru, and a software tycoon

Channel 10 has announced a new cast for their Shark Tank Australia reboot.

This year, the five business stars the players will need to impress include a marketing guru, an online fashion queen and a tech tycoon.

The show sees aspiring Aussie entrepreneurs present a product or service to a group of investors known as ‘Sharks’, for capital in return for a share of their company.

Among the cast of ‘Sharks’ for the new series are Sabri Suby, founder of digital marketing agency King Kong, author and tech guru Dr. Catriona Wallace, and Davie Fogarty, celebrity millionaire and founder of online retailer the Davie Group.

Rounding out the cast are online boutique fashion queen Jane Lu of Showpo and Robert Herjavec, a Canadian software tycoon who rose to fame on the U.S. version of the franchise over 14 seasons.

The news comes after Channel 10 announced they were seeking contestants for the reboot earlier this month, after the show last aired in 2018.

‘Shark Tank brings together five business superstars, who are ready to put their own cash on the line and turn the next big idea into a profitable venture,’ begins the official press release for the rebooted fan favourite.

‘If you’re a budding entrepreneur with a great business idea and want to take a chance to change your life, casting is now open,’ it continues.

‘It could be the most important pitch of your life’.
