Shock nude photo scandal rocks Labor as woman at the centre of affair makes bombshell allegations and  claims new MP tried to brush off her complaints: ‘I want Anthony Albanese to look into this’

  • The woman says the complaints process with the party has left her in the dark
  • Unnamed woman wants the Prime Minister to take the case into his own hands

A woman has expressed concern that a newly elected Labor MP has intimate photos of her and claims the party tried to brush her off in the complaints process.

The woman, who did not wish to be named, claimed she had been in a relationship with the new member for Bennelong Jerome Laxale, when he asked her for nude photos.

She told the Daily Telegraph she sent the images but assumed he would delete them but was later informed by someone else that he still had them on his laptop.

Jerome Laxale has found himself at the centre of a ‘nude’ scandal in which rival Liberals told an ex-girlfriend of his they had seen nude photographs of her

Their relationship, she claimed, lasted from October 2020 and November 2021.

She said the relationship ended on good terms.

But when she went to help Mr Laxale’s campaign efforts in April this year as a friend and a Union member assigned to the campaign, Liberals told her they had ‘seen the pictures on Jerome’s laptop.’

The woman said she had told the party of her concern after the initial incident.

The Daily Mail makes no suggestion Mr Laxale shared or possesses the images.

The woman made a formal complaint to NSW Labor after the election, claiming after she raised the issue with Mr Laxale and other campaign officials, she was taken off the campaign and blocked on Mr Laxale and the campaign’s social media pages.

A campaign official reportedly sent a text message to the woman saying they wanted her to have all the information, attaching Labor Party rule documents, so she could ‘make an informed decision about how your would like your complaints to be dealt with’.

‘They’ve put me in the dark and it really impacts me, not just my emotional wellbeing but my future prospects if those pictures come out,’ she told the Daily Telegraph.

‘I want Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to look into this personally.’
