This is the shocking moment a brutal bar brawl erupted at a Majorca beach club  after a drunk party-goer who was asked to leave the premises attacked members of staff and called his family for back-up, leaving several injured.

Footage shows shirtless men in swimming trunks throwing punches at El Peñon beach-bar staff, as well as hurling chairs over their heads.

One topless man and a man in an apron can be seen charging at each other as others try to break up the rampage.

But other men soon began to join in on the brawl.

Others can be heard shouting for someone to call for police as the violent punch-up ensues.

The fight broke out on Saturday night between members of staff at the Palma beach club and an intoxicated guest who was reportedly thrown out of the club for rowdy behaviour.

He and his family were allegedly celebrating a party on the beach next to the bar, when the man and several of his relatives entered the premises to use the toilet.

The man, who local media have identified as a member of a well-known gypsy clan, had started bothering customers and waiting staff before being asked to leave by the owner.

But he allegedly reacted to the owner’s request violently and called on his family for back-up, which resulted in the spat getting out of control.

According to local outlet Diaro de Mallorca, multiple people who tried to intervene were injured, including a member of staff who was hospitalised after having a bar stool hurled at his head.

Thee Spanish men aged 48, 42 and 43 were arrested on charges of violent disorder, assault and death threats. Local media has said some of them have criminal histories.  The three men are reportedly related.

There was also significant damage to the venue, including broken furniture, plates and glassware.

They were also reportedly heard saying: ‘We are Gyspies from Son Banya, more than 50 of us are coming and we will kill you all’.

This is not the only recent beach-side brawl to break out on the Spanish island.

Back in May, a group of British ‘stag do’ tourists brawled outside a Majorca beach club, which resulted in eight being arrested.

The violent incident which involved the British party-goers occurred at the Balneario Illetas beach club restaurant in Calvia, the municipality where Magalug is located.

A waiter was injured after being hit in the head and two police officers were also hurt in the violent scenes which saw dozens of waiters and holidaymakers fighting it out on a beach outside the venue.

Footage of the incident showed the violent scuffle, with security guards and restaurant staff grappling with the allegedly drunken holidaymakers on the sand, as reggaeton music played in the background.
