A violent man has horrified tourists after police were forced to use a taser, but it did not stop him.
The shocking moment the 49-year-old hurled himself at Queensland police with clenched fists all unfolded in front of huge crowds of stunned holiday makers.
Caught on camera, the man appeared to refuse police orders, forcing them to taser him to the ground at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast.

‘No I’m not f***ing lying down on the ground,’ the man can be heard shouting at police.
‘Are you going to taser me, go for it.’
However, the taser did not stop the man as he was seen getting up immediately and moved towards the police.
Other police officers stepped in before they used capsicum spray to control the middle-aged man’s actions.
The footage shows the man finally being held down by a number of police officers on a road at Coolum.
The dramatic scene began moments earlier when the 49-year-old allegedly abused a female traffic officer, according to the Sunshine Coast Daily.

The man reportedly abused the woman before he approached police with clenched fists.
After the confronting ordeal, the man was taken away where he allegedly continued to abuse police by spitting on and hitting one officer, the publication reported.
The man was charged and will face Maroochydore Magistrates Court in February.
