During one of the more fun and friendly games of college football’s bowl season, two teammates seemed to get into a physical altercation on Saturday evening.
Two players on the University of Miami (FL) Hurricanes football team exchanged blows during the Pop-Tarts Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
Senior defensive lineman Simeon Barrow Jr. was seen getting physical with freshman d-lineman Marquise Lightfoot.
Barrow was seen throwing multiple punches at Lightfoot while Lightfoot was seen shoving his counterpart.
Eventually, the two were separated by their fellow teammates and coaches in a game that Miami clearly did not want to play.
The Hurricanes were seemingly locks for the College Football Playoff and were expected to play in the ACC Championship game going into the final week of the regular season.

Eventually, the Hurricanes blew their halftime lead giving the victory to Iowa State
But an upset loss at the hands of Syracuse in Central New York doomed those hopes – with Miami not making the conference championship game.
The team was then passed over for the College Football Playoff, sending the 13th ranked Hurricanes to play 18th ranked Iowa State in the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
Miami’s star quarterback – Cam Ward, a projected first-round selection in the upcoming NFL Draft – only played one half of the contest.
He then left the game, seemingly uninjured, with Miami leading the game 31-28.
Iowa State then mounted a comeback – outscoring the ‘Canes 14-10 in the second half to win the game 42-41.
That included a 4th and Goal conversion from the game’s MVP – ISU quarterback Rocco Becht – who ran it in from the one-yard-line with 56 seconds remaining in the game to clinch the win.
Miami’s season came to an end with a 10-3 record – a massive improvement from their 7-6 mark the year prior.
