This is the shocking moment a Russian soldier viciously kicked and beat a woman while she cowered on the floor after she shouted ‘Glory to Ukraine’ on his return home from war.

Video shows the woman, a neighbour, greeting one of Vladimir Putin’s men on his return home to the southwestern city of Voronezh by shouting ‘glory to Ukraine’.

The soldier, dressed in military fatigues, can be seen yanking the woman by her hair down the steps of an apartment block.

He shouted ‘on the ground’ to the woman, who reportedly came from Ukraine during the war, before repeatedly kicking and punching her body and face.

The horrific attack on the woman, who was seen cowering on the ground, lasted 20 minutes, witnesses say.

At least three bystanders are seen nearby but fail to intervene to help the stricken woman.

They ‘calmly watch what is happening’, one report says.

The video was shot from a high-rise overlooking the appalling attack.

It was not reported whether the woman received hospital treatment after the attack.

The fearful woman refused to file a complaint when she and the attacker were taken to the police, said reports.

Local newspaper MOE reported that she told officers: ‘I just fell down.’

Russian police are believed to be taking no further action over the incident.

It is unclear if the soldier was one of the thousands or Wagner private mercenary army troops currently sent home for rest after fighting for Putin, or a regular.

Neighbours said that the woman had come to Voronezh from Ukraine.

The Voronezh region shares a border with the occupied Luhansk region of Ukraine.
