Shocking moment woman lashes out with knife as road rage row erupts into violence on London high street before bystanders are forced to step in

This is the shocking moment a woman hits a man with a walking stick before reaching for a possible knife. 

The incident happened on Kilburn High Road in north London around 11pm yesterday. 

A bystander filmed the incident which occurred outside a gym.

It is believed the brawl was prompted by a road rage incident. 

Within moments, two men and a woman are involved in a skirmish and fall to the floor. 

The woman grabs a rucksack and attempts to hit one of the men, who ducks.

As the fight continues, the woman approaches a silver convertible and removes what appears to be a knife from the boot and passes it to her friend. 

One man was taken to hospital for treatment. 

The Metropolitan Police confirmed three men and a women were arrested 

Scotland Yard confirmed that four people were arrested at the scene. Two men, aged 28 and 41 are being held on suspicion of actual bodily harm and a 35-year-old man is being questioned on suspicion of affray. A woman, 34, was arrested on suspicion of common assault. 

A Scotland Yard source said: ‘At this early stage officers believe the altercation took place following a road rage incident. Enquiries continue.’
