Shopper spots a MAJOR issue with her $10 Kmart advent calendar ahead of the festive season

  •  A Kmart shopper has noticed a major issue with her 2021 advent calendar
  • The woman revealed the calendar she got from Kmart has two 22s and no 24
  • People found the mix up to be hilarious and called for the holiday to be canceled

An eagle-eyed shopper has revealed a major flaw with Kmart’s $10 advent calendars – not all of them cater for the 24 days leading up to Christmas.

The young woman posted a picture of the sweet-filled calendar on a popular Kmart Facebook Page.

‘Something’s off with this advent calendar,’ she teased, not revealing the number 24 – Christmas Eve – was missing and an extra 22 was sitting in its place.

Most of the Kmart shoppers in the group found the mistake hilarious and found humour in the error.

‘Around about the 24 I need two extra days to get organised so it suits me,’ one woman wrote, adding laughing faces.

‘HAHA, tricked you kids, no Christmas this year,’ laughed another.

Others said the calendar represents the state of the world over the last two years.

‘Covid year specialty gifts, where all the info in front of you is NEVER correct and always makes no sense,’ one woman said.

But some people were left flustered by the revelation.

Most of the calendars were correct, like the one pictured, according to Kmart shoppers

‘I bought three for gifts, I really wish I’d checked them now,’ one woman wrote on the post.

‘Kmart for the win,’ criticised another.

‘The old 22 instead of 24 trick,’ complained another.

The post appeared to be very popular. Customers said they would be sure to check the calendars before taking them home this Christmas.

The 24 box should feature a picture of Santa, according to a promotional picture of one of the calendars.

The mistake does not seem to be common as most customers reported their calendars were correct.
